Accessible Rooms

  • Outlet within four feet of a phone

Room Reservations

  • The hotel’s website allows individuals with disabilities to reserve accessible guest roomsduring the same hours and in the same manner as other individuals.
  • When the accessible guest room is reserved, it is blocked and removed from all reservation systems and held for the reserving guest and guaranteed, even if the normal practice is not to guarantee.

The following features are not available:

  • Depending on when your hotel was built and/or when alterations were made, consider whether to provide information regarding important publicly accessible property features that are not ADA compliant along with available accessible alternatives.
  • Example: The front entrance of a historic hotel is not accessible but the rear entrance of the hotel is accessible. The website should include this information and give directions to the rear entrance.
